I've been invited to build a brand identity for the TGW Group in the end of 2020.
Formed by three companies — Tokyo Innovative, Tenchi Digital and Tagawa —, the TGW look had to coexist with these brands, without feeling like versions of a same identity.
The TGW motto is "From Tokyo to Kyoto", meaning that the company has all the innovative state of mind of a brand new capital like Tokyo, but with the steadiness and trustworthiness of long-living traditions like Kyoto.
This motto made me think of a brand identity that shows movement, like it's symbols and objects are always going somewhere. The logo itself has long lines to represent that moving spirit - and it's shapes and colors resemble the Japanese flag.
